Presidents House Sri Lanka is the official home of the President of Sri Lanka situated in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It has been the residence of every president of Sri Lanka since 1972. I have been working as an employee in the Social Development centre during the year 2003 – 2006. Consequent on the war in the country and due to unpleasant situation and threat to the war in the country and due to unpleasant situation and threat to the life, I along with my family members had to take asylum, in India. As I am not staying in the Refugee camp in Chennai, India my name has been kept in outside Registration. From the day you have assumed the post of President, I desire to return along with my family to Srilanka. Since our names have been kept in the outside Refugee Registration List, we are being asked to pay Penalty money / fine by the Bureau of Immigration as in the case of foreigners. This issue is not only related to me and it is made applicable to 70% of the re.
