I opened a CD account on 12/31/2022. I accidentally put the wrong letter on the ID name. I didn't receive any detail information or an account number. I have been on the phone with your representees to no avail. They hang up on you if they can not help me. I am a senior citizen and am having doubts about using your bank. I just open another account in a different bank, and it was all done in a professional matter. I am sorry to say your bank is far from that.

BAD FAITH LETTER
We had a debt settlement through New Horizon (Phillip and Cohen)
and they settled the debt for $5065 in January of 2021. We
settled that debt on July 26 of 2022. We did a refinance with our mortgage company Mr. Cooper and they made a check payable to citibank for $9724 by mistake, they cashed this check on August 24 illegally, our account had been closed since January 2021. I have called about this and can not get any resolution.

I had to call Citi to initiate a dispute. To my disappointment Citi has hired, like Comcast and so many other companies employees who speak with an accent. This is very frustrating to me. I have to spend double amount of time asking the agent to repeat what they are telling me. When customers are having an issue that they do not understand, it makes it a horrid experience when you cannot understand the agent. PLEASE HIRE AMERICANS WHO SPEAK WITHOUT AN ACCENT. THANK YOU.

Unfortunately, Citibank was selected to administer the charge accounts for a great organization, Home Depot. I changed our address on our Home Depot Commercial account, however, it was done incorrectly by your organization. Citibank used the state, and zip code of our previous address rather than the change I requested. So our address became TUCSON, CA 95946. Any person who deals with address changes knows there is no TUCSON in California and definitely not at zip code 95946. SO, I called Citibank FIVE times. The line was disconnected twice and I received the recording; "Unfortunately, no one is available to take your call, please call again later". WHAT? For a bank handling credit cards? That's unconscionable. To solve the problem, I called the corporate office of Home Depot and the address was corrected in five minutes. What a sad situation - a bank that handles credit cards, but has no people to help. I will now write a letter to Craig Menear, HD CEO to suggest a change.

After calls and letters beginning 10/19/21, I was unable to confirm CitiBank's receipt of my form requesting my spouse be added as joint owner of my savings account and naming my beneficiaries. Also, I answered the promotion of receiving 20, 000 Aadvantage Airmiles if I deposited $10, 000 into a savings account (which I did on 10/12/21). The ad specified the airmiles would be awarded 90 days after opening this account. When I called last week to find out why the airmiles were not awarded, I was told I have to wait another 90 days. So, this is 180 DAYS Definitely a fraudulent ad which I will report to the Banking Commissioner.

I received a bill for Geek Squad and called on 12/27/21 to cancel the service. Best Buy cancelled it and sent me a pro-rated refund. I kept getting harrassing phone calls that I was to send the check to CitiBank. I called on 01/17/22. Finally, while on the phone with Jordan (a super at customer service) I figured out WHY the refund should go to CitiBank. No one at CitiBank could explain it to me clearly. I questioned if this was reported to credit bureaus, because it was not my fault and should not have been. Jordan said, yes, but it was not CitiBank's fault, it was BestBuys, because they should have sent the check to CitiBank. No one explained any of this to me. I pride myself on my credit and am very distraught over this. When I asked for the address of the CitiBank president, Jordan hung up on me. I got the Headquarters phone number online and got a message that the number was not accepting calls I need a response from Exec to clear my credit, please.

Hi,
The same thing happened to me! a scammer took $40,000. 00 out of my account on a fake "geek squad" international wire transfer. It is absolutely terrible how i am having to fight to get my money back from citibank. The men and women that i have spoken to are nothing but liars and blatantly told me that citibank is not liable because i gave them access to my account. This is a proven outright lie, and they refuse to listen and accept the fact that the citibank fraud department "did not" do their job of stopping this. They told me that they are not responsible for wire transfers. I am fighting them tooth and nail! one of the ladies even told me that this has happened to "several people" and it was out of their hands. I am a 70-year-old, honest man and to allow citibank to permit this transaction without my permission is beyond words.

Citi bank is a nightmare. There is no customer service in any branch. Nobody responds the phone. Only a tape recording repeats 24/7 the message to go online or to call credit cards. There is no one to get in touch regarding the bank account. The "contact us" tab allegedly allows to schedule a phone appointment with a banker. But when one fills in the form and presses "send" button, the message shows up "We are sorry, we are having temporary difficulties. " Those difficulties last forever.
