Upon watching the Presidents Cup. I've become disenchanted with the play through way you guys make sure you get all the commercials in while we the public miss out on the actual action of the tournament. Hopefully you will reassess the ways you choose to air your commercials.

Regarding "Playing Through":
The use of "Playing Through" by the Golf Channel and other networks is a format that is distracting and irritating to this viewer. Your advertisers should know that I mute the sound and do not appreciate viewing the golf on a mini screen during commercial breaks. The concept is NOT a winner for your advertisers or your viewers. The premise that viewers missed coverage when commercial breaks were taken is, I believe not true. Important golf action was previously taped and shown to viewers. The genius that initiated the concept should be looking for a new job. Respectfully,

Jim Mcguffin

The golf channel website has the menu bar running straight through the middle of the screen. Is their any reason for this, just seems to be annoying more than anything else.

Coverage of The Masters. Why did we see so little of the actual golf? All morning long and into the afternoon we, the Golf Channel audience, were subjected to commentary, snatched of video, useless drivel, and mushy video portraits of various golfers. What we wanted to see was GOLF, live at The Masters The early rounds give viewers a chance to see other less known golfers and get a real feel for the competition. We never saw some players at all Why not cut out the drivel and let us see the game and make our own judgments I assure you your viewing audience is capable of that
Feel free to share this with CBS.

Your TV coverage of the LPGA is limited and severely flawed. The commentators show bias to whom they pay most attention and obviously have their favorites. And conversely they do not spread their attention equally. I could offer specifics,, but I do not want to make this communication too long. I would be happy to discuss this ay greater detail in the proper forum. Additionally, it is troubling to try to understand why (when this is telecasted with a base in Florida, to a TV audience that is predominately located in the U. S. ) must the announcers all have British accents. It is tiresome to hear that the golfer is putting for a "paa" or a "burr-die. "

There are several other problems,, but again, I do not wish to make this too long. Would appreciate the opportunity to "discuss" this at greater length with the proper representative.
