MLB is made up of 30 teams, not two, BTW the majority of announcers talk, you would think the MLB league is only concerned or care about those two teams, the NY Yankees and the LA Dodgers and lesser degrees to SF and Boston. Their are 30 teams, stop acting and hiring Yankee and Dodger cheerleader fans who shamelessly taunt their favorites on TV and print. The Houston Astros just humiliated the Yankees on National and Worldwide TV audiences. The opening of the Houston ballpark was your call to give the Yankees an edge to win because the Astros rarely have played with the roof opened. It backfired and excuse after excuse followed to losing to Houston. The World of U. S. Baseball does not revolve around the Yankees and Dodgers, stop being so biased and clueless. The majority of MLB fans and supporters are the other 28 teams and the teams who win the games, not just talking endlessly about the once mighty Yankees and West Coast Dodger media. Its time to treat the equally rich Third Coast the same.

I do not know if this will be accepted, but here goes. First the bench clearing brawl between Mets and Cardinals was a travesty. Giving two game suspensions to pitcher and batter were light. Fines are not the way to go with the others involved Second lets go with the suspension to Trever Bauer, I am not a fan of him or baseball for that matter, but two Years for alleged Domestic Abuse. Please explain how these suspensions come about?
Just a suggestion let me do your job for a season and I WILL put an end to bench clearing brawls and batters being hit accidently on purpose. Get control of these issues or someone could be seriously hurt.

The changes you’ve made to the game, hasn’t improved it all all. The runner on 2nd base is ridiculous. The incompetence of umpires is ramped and they have affected outcomes with their ridiculous ball/ strike calls. I’ve not been a fan of robot umpires, but after seeing games decided on poor calls, it’s probably a good idea. Checking pitchers gloves may or may not be effective, but when umpires made Sean Manaea change a glove that he’s used in every start this season, because they did not like the color was ridiculous I’m not even an A’s fan, but I was stunned
Do a better job in rating these umpires. They are making the game about them, not the players.

You and your officers have no guts. If you did, there would be actions after the game today between New York and Tampa Bay. Shameful to say the home plate guy and the first base guy were pathetic. I cannot call them what they are not. Surely there are people out there who can do a better job.

When an organization becomes a political element such as pulling out of a state over a law that you have apparently not read, then you are a frigging idiot. I have spent thousands of dollars on MLB products each year since the 80's. I will not spend another dollar until you resign as commissioner and get this organization back into a non-political status. By the way, this is a nice email. If you really want to hear what I think about you, email me. I'll tell you, I'll tell you face to face, you frigging idiot.

I have been a baseball fan since I was old enough to pick up a bat and glove. (Yankees of course) Since you do not the guts to stand up to the cancel culture liberal nuts, and have decided to move the all star game out of Atlanta, based on the new voting rights law in that state, which you have obviously have not read or understand, I find it impossible to support MLB in any way. For a lot of years, I am now 67, I have lived and died with the Yankees and I will miss them terribly, but someone has to stand up to these people who want to tell me how to think and act and if you won't I will. I do not think I will be alone.

I was truly saddened to hear that the commissioner has decided to remove the All-Star game from Atlanta in 2021 due to political issues which have nothing to do with baseball. Baseball is a national sport, not just a particular political party/position sport, and as such should represent all citizens and refrain from taking up political positions.

I thought MLB might make a step in the right direction after the disastrous leadership of Bud Selig. This current commissioner has backed away from promises made upon his appointment. Doing away with the D H was one promise. Now we are seeing in both leagues and mark my words it is here to stay in the N L. The excessive length of Joe Kelleys suspension is redirecting the failure of your leadership in not holding the players involved in the Astros sign stealing scandal accountable for their actions. MLB players are forced to take matters into their own hands because you will not do what is right and hold the Astro players accountable. This commissioner is a joke.

I had to take a double take to believe what I was seeing when I observed "BLM" on the field of the yankees vs Nats game. I can not believe you, as the commissioner, would allow that on your major league fields To make matters worse, the players all taking a knee for OUR National Anthem Are you kidding me?
What country are you from MR.commissioner. Do you have any idea how insulting it is to a veteran to see these overpaid players of yours take a knee for the National Anthem? Have you ever served this country in the military Mr.commissioner?
Let me ask another question. Do you actually know what the movement of BLM stands for? Do you understand why it was allegedly started? It was started over the nonsense and very false theory that law enforcement targets black americans. All the rioting going on in all these major cities over what amounts to eight unarmed blacks killed by police in the last year. All of which exonerated the police Get used to empty stands.

If you are serious about stopping the sign stealing then do something like the national football league does when they relay their plays via the helmet of the quarterback. Have the catcher wear a mic and call the plays to the pitcher via an ear piece. No signs, no stealing. And also if your so worried about the Astros then think about this, out of all the games they play throughout the year there are only a certain amount played at home and the rest are played on the road. And out of all the games played half of the game is defense not offense, so if you think about it most of the game time is not being able to be cheated on, but just pure good baseball.

The situation with the Astros is a very serious one. First of all, even if the player did not participate he is guilty. He did not report it to the proper individuals. So they are guilty as well. Another very important aspect is that the Stats are all wrong. Since 2017 there are truly no good stats for any team that played against the Astros in this time period. This is very serious. The Astros should be dissolved and another team should be created or maybe not at all. Any player who participated in this, actually did cheat should be banned from baseball for life. Alex Cora has been, but those players dumb enough to participate should be banned. The players who knew of it, but did not participate should be fined and suspended for a season. This is so incredibly serious. Action needs to be taken or confidence and the integrity of baseball will be lost.

The handling of the Astros' cheating scandal has been done poorly. So far there has been no accountability for the players actions. They knew what they were doing was wrong. Of course the cheating had an impact on the World Series. The fact that the owner of the Astros believes it didn't just shows that he has not learned a lesson. This Scandal. Opposing pitchers were humiliated and called "Choker" or some variation on the theme. The Opposing pitchers received contracts that were significantly less than they would have been if the cheating hadn't happened. As a fan, I have no confidence that cheating will stop. The actions of the Astros' players has tainted the game. This will have a greater impact on baseball than the player strike. All the changing of rules will not bring back fans. Why should I watch a game if the result is rigged? I believe that the players involved should be punished. As was done with Roger Maris, an asterisk should be placed next to the series winner.

When it is proved that an individual or team cheated to win, any awards or titles should be vacated. The Astro's World Series championship should be vacated and they should be prohibited from playing in the post season for one year. That is a team penalty for widespread cheating. Also, Altuve should have to forfeit his MVP award for 2017 because many of his hits were probably tainted if he took part in the cheating scheme which all indicators believe that he did. A fine, managerial suspensions, and loss of draft picks is an acceptable loss compared to winning a World Series and MVP. Titles and awards have been vacated in other sports, why not the same for baseball. As a Dodger fan, I, along with Yankee and Cleveland fans, need to know that cheating will not be rewarded. I do not believe that the Dodgers, Yankees or Indians should gain titles not won on the field, but neither should the cheating Astros. To date, none of the Astro players or management has paid a real penalty.

For the record, this travesty of punishment for the Astros is disgusting. It's a crime in itself and the commissioner should be fined and fired. The rule is NO Technology in the Dugout. There was NO technology in the Dugout. Evidence of cheating from eight other MLB teams has been turned in to no avail. The comment made is the MLB is using the Astros as a litmus test as opposed to tackling the other teams. WTF. They are all guilty. This is illegal and immoral. This commissioner and his crew of henchmen should all be fired. There is clearly no integrity or honesty associated with the MLB and how dare they point fingers at anyone else. Karma is a bitch. This will come back to bite you. Just give it a few years.

This is how to make games shorter. Give batters only six swings at the ball, if they do not connect, it's a strike. Even if its a foul ball, that's a strike. You'll see how fast the games goes once this is put into effect. Games are running too long, way into the a. M. Hours of the next day.

I believe the commissioner of major league baseball has got some choices to deal with now that he has elected to reinstate the new York mets pitcher from his lifetime ban. I would assume that Pete Roses reinstatement should be next. He is also banned for life, which now means less than a year. Personally I would like to see Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame as a player, not as a manager. Keep the ban on Pete for managing any team, but reinstate him so he can be elected. I also believe teams should increase the numbers of players from 25 to 30. And do away with the DH.

Dear Mr.commissioner:

I am writing in regards to the reinstatement of Joseph Jefferson Jackson and Buck Weaver, and their subsequent induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Judge Landis banned both players for "life. " Jackson passed away in 1951 and Weaver in 1956. Besides the fact that neither player showed any evidence of wrong doing, plus the fact that the Landis ban was for life and not eternity, these players have done their time and should be considered for reinstatement and induction. My wife and I would like to meet with you and discuss this issue. Your consideration will be greatly appreciated. Respectfully,

Chris Jones

You continue to mess with a sport that is better off left alone The runner on second base was an idea that did not work in youth baseball and was VERY un popular. To speed the game think about stopping the pitches called from a coach in the dugout and force umpires to call the book strike zone instead of their own version. The fans are growing tired of batters being called out on ankle high pitches or being walked on a pitch slightly above their waist.

My review is based on the lack of progress in improving the performance of umpires, who are simply calling too many pitches erroneously. I suggest that the strike zone be automated so that there are no errors. Such automation has taken away much of the disput in tennis.
