Terna medical College (TMC) was established in 1991, it is a private medical College managed by the Terna Public Charitable Trust. The College is located in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The College is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of health sciences (MUHS), Nashik. Terna trust was established in 1980, Dr. Padmasinha Patil being its Founder President. He has devoted his life to the cause of Education. He is associated with a many Educational, social and medical activities in Maharashtra. The trust has more than fifteen Institutes under it in Navi Mumbai and Osmanabad. Terna Engineering College, Terna Dental College, Terna Physiotherapy College, Terna Nursing College, Terna Hospital and Research Centre, Terna group of Colleges and Schools to name a few.
TMC has an intake capacity of 100 undergraduate seats and aims at delivering the best training to its Students to make them Successful and responsible doctors. The medical College has Terna Sahyadri Hospital and Research Centre as an attachment. The Hospital has a 250 bed capacity and offers the latest medical technologies and tertiary healthcare solutions under one roof. The Hospital has an Emergency and trauma care unit and Intensive Care Units and offers expertise in various specializations like Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, General surgery, Dermatology, ENT, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, Physiotherapy etc. TMC is also affiliated to the Navi Mumbai Corporation Hospital (NMMC), Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
The medical College has a well-equipped library with e-library from MUHS. The College has well maintained with latest amenities girls and boys hostel with the capacity of 186 and 189 respectively.
Apart from MBBS TMC also offers other C.P.S. Diploma Courses which include D.Ortho, DGO, DCH, DMRE, DOMS, DA, TDD and DPB.
