I was posted to Syndicate Bank, South Block branch in 1997 and after a year I was shifted to our Q block branch opposite Sena Bhavan. I was Senior branch Manager, heading the branch. General Shankar Roy Chowdhry was my esteemed customer. He was down to earth. He used to sit in my cabin and chat over a cup of tea. A very interesting person. I am indeed very proud to have known him well. Hope he reads my comment. God bless him with good health, happiness prosperity and a long life. I live in Mangalore and I am 71.
