Gujarat Science City is a science center and city located in the Hebatpur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was established by the Government of Gujarat to create the scientific temper and scientific awareness in the community. The Science City is spread on more than one-hundred acres of land to provide Education and entertainment to the Students. It was an initiative by the Government of Gujarat to draw the attention of large number of Students towards the Education in science. The main attractions of the Gujarat Science City include IMAX 3D Theater, Energy Education park, Planet Earth, Hall of Space, Life Science park, Electrodrome, Hall of Science, Musical Dancing Fountain, Thrill Rides, Simulators, LED Screen and open air Amphitheater with a seating capacity of more than fifteen-hundred seats for organizing various Programs, science drama, miracles and shows. The Science City also provides housing arrangement for those Students preparing for various science examinations and competitions. The one month training Program known as “Vacation training Program on Bioresources” is organized by the Science City for School Children to encourage the Students regarding Bioresources and is funded by the Government of Gujarat.
