The School of Life was Instituted in the year 2008 by a philosopher Alain De Botton and a former curator of Tate Modern Sophie Howarth. It is a social initiative wherein it is taught, through variety of Programmes and Services, how to live well and wisely. It is not in alliance with any Educational, religious or any other charitable organizations. It renders psychotherapy and bibliotherapy on day to day problems at work, relationships and general life. The School has a small shop that is known as ‘Apothecary for the Mind’.
