Lee Hyung-taik is a former professional tennis player from South Korea. He won one singles title and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 36, in August 2007. Lee competed in four consecutive Olympic Games: 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney, 2004 Athens, and 2008 Beijing. In January 2006, Lee reached a career-best doubles ranking of 95th in the world. Lee won his first doubles title on the ATP Challenger circuit in 1996 at the Samsung Securities Cup in Seoul. He was a popular Korean tennis player who was the first Korean to break into the world's top 100 players. Lee was the first Korean to win ATP Tour singles and doubles titles, and he won a silver medal at the Asian Games in 2006. After retiring from tennis in 2009, Lee became a tennis commentator and the director of the Lee Hyeong-Taek Tennis Academy in Chuncheon. He is also a Public Relations Ambassador for Konkuk University.
