Your my Hero. Seriously Love your collection and the fact that you drive them all. Not sure if I remember correctly or not, but I think I saw a show where you were talking about how difficult it is to work on some of the really old cars because they do not have Chilton or exploded views of the engines wiring etc. So I wanted share that I have a Paige Detroit Master Parts List for 1920 and the reason there is nothing around is because they used to charge the mechanics $10 (back in 1920) if they called the books in to be returned and theirs was not returned then they would tack $10 onto their accounts and the parts lists were the chilton's also really cool book up for sale on ebay. Can't paste link okay well it on ebay 1920 Paige Detroit MAster Parts List.

The CHP car brought back old memories. My god father was a California Highway patrolman in the 50's and 60's in Northern California. He was a good friend of my dad and grandfather. I remember him coming by my grandfathers house on a daily basis, usually mid afternoon. Grandpa had a carport with bushes all around. You could almost set your watch with the CHP car pulling into the carport, where no one would notice it. Grandma had coffee and pie or cake ready and and @(, (I won't mention his name) would stay for an hour or two. His radio was turned up to max so he could leave if he was needed. I do not remember him ever leaving until the pie was gone

I remember going out for rides in the CHP car with my cousins and friends. He would show us where the cops hid, looking for speeders. He once caught a couple of my cousins stealing a dirt bike. He chased them up logging roads til the bike ran out of gas. He put them in the car and took them home. My uncle did the punishment.

Always wondered why given the Miura is so dear to Jay having two and owned and worked on Lambos from not much later then passing puberty - why he never converted one to an SV. All the magazines he constantly references, went on and on how there were important changes to the suspension and engine that made it THE one to get. There are certainly garages that have done it and well. Its would be a fraction of the work of some/most of his restomods and utterly honour everything Bob Wallace most wanted to achieve for the car exemplified in this final version. In the spirit of (but far more important) then say the better carbs you put on the Honda S600. Except this is what Wallace most wanted for it. Ask Jay to enlighten everyone.

Please tell Jay that his gararge show is my new 'guilty pleasure'. It is a very comfortable show to watch and learn from. I wish Jay would review a Porsche 928 S4. I just bought a beautiful example from Redondo Beach and drove it up to Portland, Oregon. The car quenches my thirst in terms of design and overall performance. Again. It would be interesting to have Jay 'review' one on his wonderful show. Thank you. Michael L. Theirl

Mr. Barton ClarkMar 10, 2016
I teach physics and general science up in Marin County, and I regularly use episodes in my classroom to highlight engineering, artistry and history (of automotive design) to my students. Just today, showed my physics students the episode on the Nissan GT-R Nismo, front-wheel drive car. Which was a an incredible discussion of engineering challenges, solutions and trade-offs. Super fun for my students. Here is my big idea for your show. What if you had a once-a-year lottery in which folks from around the country could submit a story line about their personal cars. But which are in need of repair. And then for those personal stories that you personally found intriguing, you could put them in a hopper and pull out one randomly to fix up (kind of like "overhaulin". But without the stupid setup. And stupid, over the top graphics and wheel packages. I bet the viewing audience would be interested in watching "regular guys" being helped out by your shop.

Hello Mr. Leno. I am a big fan of your show. I heard you were recently in the New York/Long Island area visiting. I understand that you tried to stop into the Collector Car Showcase in Oyster Bay. I was disappointed when I heard you missed out on seeing my car that was on display their. It is a 1970 GTO Judge, black with red interior, and was a concourse Gold winner. I posted a photo of the car a while ago on you page. If you are ever back visiting Long Island New York and would like to see the car. It would be an honor Thank You for your time Kevin.
