Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) is a public, co-Educational Chemical Engineering Research Institute located in the Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was established in the year 1933 as the University Department of Chemical Technology of University of Mumbai and was granted the status of deemed University in the year 2008. It is one of the premier Institutes of India and it is the only State funded deemed University in India. The Institute is spread on more than sixteen acres of land and offers undergraduate, post-graduate and doctorate Programs in various branches of chemical Engineering, Pharmacy and chemical Technology.

The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi&sa=Search&ref='>Delhi and has been acCredited Grade A by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD), Government of Maharashtra. The admission to the Institute takes place on the basis of merit scored in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains and more than two thousand Students are enrolled at the Institute.
