Johann Ernst "Hansi" Hinterseer is an Austrian schlager singer, actor, entertainer and former alpine skier. from a successful ski racer to an even more successful pop singer, presenter and actor. Hansi Hinterseer was born on February 2, 1954, in Austria. In 1984, after quitting his active career, he became co-commentator of ski races with the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation. In 1993 he started his career as folk music singer. In fact he was discovered by the music producer Jack White on his birthday party, when Hinterseer sang a birthday serenade.In his musical career, Hinterseer was awarded the "Golden Tuning Fork" seven times between 1997 and 2004.
