Govind Ballabh (G.B.) Pant Hospital was founded in the year 1961. It was commissioned by the then Prime Minister late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on 30th April, 1964. It started with 229 bed capacity and presently has over 600 beds. It offers super speciality treatment to more than three lac OPD patients and over fifteen thousand patients in General and Private Wards every year.
