I have been an account holder for as long as I can remember. It is only in the last three years that I have experienced a change in the usual impeccable service? I am currently in a situation where £4950 has been embezzled from my account. I rang the office and informed the operative as soon as I realised and at this stage I still had the perpetrator on the line masquerading as my son I asked this person to do something. Put on hold and told there would be a wait of at least one hour Rang off after 56 minutes. Phoned again and spoke to another operative whose name is Ryan McGarry. Same scenario, but this time I was cut off after 56 minutes. By the next morning the money was in a Natwest student account in Leicester and GONE You cannot make it up.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO FIRST DIRECT FOR SEVERAL DAYS NOW AND HAVE BEEN WAITING ON AVERAGE ABOUT 40 MINUTES BEFORE I GIVE UP. MY CALL IS URGENT. THERE APPEARS THAT UNLESS YOU HAVE ONLINE BANKING THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN GET TO SPEAK TO ANYONE. I HAVE TRIED TO REGISTER ONLINE BUT THEY SAY YOU HAVE TO PHONE FIRST FIRST DIRECT USED TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SO I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS NOW NON EXISTANT.

I was really happy with this bank but, trivial as it may seem I have just received a card telling me I've been a customer for 365 happy days. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF

Whatever this useless card cost to send you could, if you really had to, electronically generate an email on my first anniversary and put mine and everyone else's pennies towards a charity, maybe saving trees

You obviously do not need a marketing company if this is all they've got to fill their time with. A very disgruntled customer. M. Morris.
