Amen, to your thoughts on this subject. I remember watching games years ago when all of the players stood and placed their hands on their hearts and showed respect and reverence and gratitude for living in this country where they were able to play the game they love and make a great living in doing so. The fact that nowadays it’s about who can be see who can draw the most attention to himself. (thanks to that idiot colin kapernik) how has that worked out for you colin? i used to love watching the players respect the country they live in. We need that now more than ever. I for one watch football to get away from all of the disgusting crap you see when you turn on your tv at the news hour, to be able to turn on an nfl game and see players respect the country is what our children that grow up seeing the players do goes a long way to keep this country from getting trampled on. Weather or not you agree with what that or not the players have a duty to all the people that watch.

I am a veteran and i will no longer watch football or any other sports till the players all stand for the national anthem. It is desrespestful to all who have fought for this country. I have no problem with them trying to raise awareness. But a minute before or after the anthem would do the same. But with out disrespecting all who have fought for.

Thank you so much for the impressive salute to the Military. The Star Spangled Banner played by Freddie Jones was top notch. It is good to see a team who reveres and salutes our flag. I have been a Cowboy fan foe 50 years and I have never been as embarrassed as I was this week. You should seriously find a decent offense coordinator. You need to start running Elliot more he works the better he gets. And you need to put Prescot under the quarter back coaches and teach him how to release the ball so it does not fly 30 feet above the receivers head. You hav a ton of talent, but the coaching staff have no idea how to use it.
