The College of Insurance was established by the ITET. The main Campus of the College is Located at Naiobi. The College was started with the management course of 10 days. Now the College is the Premier College in East and Central Africa which provides the Insurance Courses. In 1996 the Government starts a course which was for all Agents. The Course was for certificate of Proficiency and it was compulsory for all Insurance agents. The first examination for this course was held in 1997.
