BA are cancelling flights and using this process to make more money. My flight got cancelled the alternative I was offered would have originally cost £70 instead of the £120 odd I had paid for a later flight. When I looked at the early flight again the price had increased to over £300. A few days later they put on another flight at a time close to my original booking at £50 for economy, business class at £125. Instead of a refund for the different between the original flight and the earlier alternative I was originally offered I was told that changes are common these days and the prices keep fluctuating. If my review is confusing it's because BA are using a confusing process to ensure customers will find it almost impossible to ask for refund. The only thing we can do is to complain as loudly as possible. I will give part of my reference number so BA have a chance to review what's happened and take this opportunity to remedy the situation before I take it further.

TO THE CEO OF BRITISH AIRLINES

The reason change of plane. I paid for extra leg room seats on original flight. New plane had no extra leg room seats and was refunded my money back. Now they want me to pay again for my wife and I to sit together again. This is not my fault of mine and should at least sit us together due to plane problems. I am a American Airlines frequent flyer and the two companies work together usually. I should have gotten what I paid for or better since this is the airlines fault not mine

looked up the reviews of the airline you rebooked on and the rateing are terrible

I am still on hold trying to fix this problem with no prevail After 30 min on hold they hung up the phone

I WILL NEVER FLY BRITISH AIRLINES AGAIN.
