Casino Regina is a casino located in the historic union train Station, National heritage site, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is an entertainment site and one of the best tourism Destination of the province. The Casino Regina is owned by Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation. It was known as Union Station and was completed in 1912 and later the building was expanded in 1931. The Architect of Casino Regina was J.F. Orroch.
Since the opening of this Union Station in 1912, it has been an important part of Regina’s history and heritage. In year 1990, Regina Union Station was closed due to the reduction of rail Services throughout Canada. It was officially labeled as heritage site in the year 1991. In year 1995, construction of Union Station started to convert it into Casino. Casino Regina was opened in 1996 and this was the first Casino of the province. Later this Casino was renovated in year 2001 and 2009.
