Hossein Khajeh Amiri, more commonly known as Iraj Khajehamiri, is an Iranian singer. His children Ehsan Khajeamiri and Elika Khajehamiri. He owns a Music school in Tehran, Avaye iraj. He began his musical career at the age of 6 by practising traditional Persian singing, known as Avaz under the guidelines of his father. He is well known in the Iranian classic music alongside others like Shajarian. He is a retired army officer and sung in many Iranian movies before the Islamic revolution of Iran. After the revolution he never sung in any other movies at all. Shajarian said about him that Iraj's voice is the best and anyone who can sing should compares his voice to Iraj.
